Water Meter Retrofit Plan In February 2004, the SSWD Board of Directors adopted a Water Meter Retrofit Plan, which outlines how the District will install water meters on all customer connections by 2025. Water Meter Retrofit Project The current Water Meter Retrofit Project will begin construction in February 2010. The 10-month project will retrofit approximately 840 existing front yard water services with new water meters. The areas that will receive water meters are shown on the maps below.

Recovery Act of 2009 Water Marketing and Efficiency Grant

The District received a Recovery Act of 2009 Water Marketing and Efficiency Grant from the Bureau of Reclamation to accelerate the installation of water meters. With the funding, an additional 1,128 existing front yard services will be retrofitted with water meters. The areas that will receive water meters are shown on the below map.
