Albatross Way/Glenrose Ave Connection Project

Approximately 700 linear feet of new water main was installed along Albatross Way from Helena Avenue south to Glenrose Avenue. The project included 3 new fire hydrants and 16 replacement water services. In addition 750 linear feet of backyard aged water main was abandoned. The installation of the water main connected two dead end water mains thus enhancing flows, providing more consistent water system pressuresand improving water quality while reducing maintenance cost for backyard water main repairs. Project completed in 2011.
