Arden Oaks Vista Main Replacement Project

This project included the installation of 3,450 feet of 12” Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) and 5,100 feet of 8” DIP.  These new water mains replaced existing water mains located in backyard easements that had outlived their useful life.  A total of 21 fire hydrants were either replaced or upgraded as a part of this project.  In addition, 183 water meters were installed, including new service lines to the residences. This project is bounded by Eastern Avenue, Arden Way, Venus Way, and Ulysses Way.  All new water mains were installed in the streets.

Construction work was completed in the fall of 2008. The total project cost was approximately $1.5 million.
