Country Club Vista Main Replacement Project

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2011 and anticipated to be completed in December 2011. The estimated construction cost is $7.5 million dollars. This project includes the installation of 180 feet of 16” Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP), 12,100 feet of 12” DIP and 17,000 feet of 8” DIP. These new water mains will be installed in the street and will replace existing backyard water mains that have outlived their useful life. As part of this project, 63 fire hydrants will be replaced or upgraded. In addition, 511 new water service lines with water meters will be installed. This project is bounded by Watt Avenue on the west, Whitney Avenue to the north, Becerra Way to the east and Robertson Avenue to the south.
