Cowan Circle Main Replacement Project

Located in Sacramento Suburban Water District’s South Service Area, this project placed approximately 1,430 linear feet of new water main in the public right of way on Robertson Avenue and Cowan Circle, relocated 15 existing water services, upgraded 2 existing and installed 1 new fire hydrant and abandoned 190 feet of galvanized pipe and 560 feet of asbestos cement pipe of existing backyard water mains in Cowan Circle. The new line was looped to improve water quality, enhance flows and provide more consistent water pressure.
