La Salle Drive Main Replacement

Located in the SSWD South Service Area, this project consisted of the installation of new water mains, fire hydrants and replacement metered water services along the ease side of Eastern Avenue from Fair Oaks Blvd to the northern intersection of La Salle Circle and Eastern Avenue.

Installing the additional water main provides water service along Eastern Avenue, looping of the water system and enhances flows and pressues. The added benefit of this main replacement project is that it allows SSWD to abandon approximately 1,200 linear feet of backyard dead-end water main including the replacement of 12 existing backyard water services. Construction was completed in 2007.
