New Broadmoor Estates Main Replacement Project

Construction on this project started in 2010 and was completed in 2011. This project included the installation of 14,100 feet of 12” Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) and 17,100 feet of 8” DIP. These new water mains were installed in the street and replaced existing backyard water mains that have outlived their useful life. As part of this project, 64 fire hydrants were replaced or upgraded. In addition, 346 new water service lines with water meters were installed. This project was bounded by Watt Avenue, El Camino Avenue, Marconi Avenue, and Belport Lane.
