Rockwood Drive Main Extension Project

Approximately 640 linear feet of new water main was installed in the Sacramento Suburban Water District’s South Service Area. The project placed a new water main on Rockwood Drive and abandoned approximately 280 feet of 2-inch galvanized pipe, 520 feet of steel pipe and 9 existing backyard water services.

The new line completed a loop of two existing dead end lines.  This pipeline looped the two lines which improves water quality, enhances flows and provides more consistent water pressure.
