Santa Anita Main Replacement Project

Construction of the Santa Anita Main Replacement Project was completed in December 2007. This $1.7 million dollar project replaced aging and undersized pipelines in backyards with new water mains in the public right-of-ways.

This project included the construction of approximately 4,800 linear feet (nearly 1 mile) of new 8-inch diameter water main, new fire hydrants and metered water services. Existing fire hydrants were also replaced. The streets involved in this project were Bell Street, Carlotta Drive, Crane Court, Cottage Way, Juanita Lane, Lansing Way, Madera Road, Porter Way and Anita Drive.
