Solari/Mission Water Main Extension/Connection Project

Located in Sacramento Suburban Water District’s South Service Area, the project placed approximately 240 linear feet of new water main on Solari Court and Mission Avenue, replaced 10 existing water services, upgraded 1 existing fire hydrant and installed 1 new fire hydrant. The project abandoned approximately 480 linear feet of backyard water main. The new line connected two dead end water mains on Mission Avenue and replaced an existing backyard water main with a new main in the public right-of-way. The installation of the water facilities enhances flows and provides more consistent water pressure while reducing maintenance cost for backyard water main repairs.
