Antelope North Road Main Extension Project

SSWD was awarded approximately $2 million of Proposition 13 grant monies to install a 36 inch pipeline. This pipeline begins near the intersection of Walerga and Antelope North Roads and will connect to an existing line on the West side of Roseville Road. SSWD applied for the grant monies to enhance the North Area Distribution System for surface and ground water.

The dollar for dollar match grant was part of the Proposition 13 bond measure to fight groundwater contaminants, replace worn-out infrastructure and support water reliability projects throughout California. Construction began in January 2004 with completion scheduled by December 2004.
