Beverly Terrace Main Replacement Project
Construction of t he Beverly Terrace Main Replacement Project was completed in October 2007. This $1.6 million dollar project included the construction of approximately 5,000 linear feet (0.95 miles) of new 8 and 12-inch diameter water pipelines.
The project scope consisted of replacing existing aging pipeline with new ductile iron waterlines by relocating existing backyard mains to the public right-of-ways. The project also included the installation of new water services with water meters. Fire protection was enhanced by the installation of new fire hydrants including the upgrade of existing fire hydrants. The streets involved in the project were Delma Way, Darwin, Joan, Ethan and Howe Avenues.
