Rockwood Drive Main Extension Project

The is the installation of approximately 640 linear feet of new water main and replacement of existing backyard residential water services in the Sacramento Suburban Water District’s South Service Area. The project will place a new water main on Rockwood Drive and abandon approximately 280 feet of 2-inch galvanized pipe, 520 feet of steel pipe and 9 existing backyard water services.

The new line will complete a loop of two existing dead end lines.  This pipeline will loop the two lines thus providing better water quality; enhancing flows and pressure to the area. This project is scheduled to be completed in February, 2008.
