Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System

To prepare for a sustainable water future, SSWD is investing in tools to serve its customers as efficiently as possible.

One such tool is the District's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. The system provides an easy and convenient way for SSWD customers to get the latest information on their accounts, including payment history, due dates, past water use and account balance. With the IVR system you can also:

  • Make instant payments on your account using a Visa® or MasterCard®. The payment is reflected immediately on the customer's account.
  • Discover other bill payment options as well as SSWD programs available to customers.
  • Find up-to-date information on water outages.
  • Receive information on the District's business hours, office location, Board of Director's meeting days and times.

Customers may choose to speak with a customer service representative at any time while using the interactive system. To access the system, call 916.972.7171 and choose the "Automated Attendant" option.

The IVR system is just one of several tools SSWD is using to ensure a sustainable water future, which is a top priority under the District’s Strategic Plan. The plan calls for the District to incorporate sustainable concepts as it carries out its mission of delivering high-quality, reliable water to its customers.
