New Service for Landlords
Owner/Tenant Billing Service
Property owners who have rental units in SSWD’s service area can sign up for a new service that will send a duplicate bill to renters. In response to requests from property owners, the Board recently adopted a regulation in which property owners can request that SSWD send a duplicate water bill directly to their tenants, who can then submit their payment directly to the District.
To take advantage of the Owner/Tenant Billing Service, property owners must agree to retain financial responsibility for any unpaid or delinquent charges and agree to pay a duplicate bill mailing fee.
