SACRAMENTO SUBURBAN WATER DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists for District 4 of on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Suburban Water District (SSWD).

The SSWD Board of Directors is seeking letters of interest from qualified members of the public wishing to fill the vacancy left in Division 4.

Persons interested in applying to fill the vacancy on the SSWD Board of Directors must be registered voters whose primary residence is located within Division 4 of SSWD’s service area. A map showing the boundaries of Division 4 is available here.

Qualified persons may submit letters of interest to SSWD, attention General Manager, by mail, in person, at 3701 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821, or via email at hhernandez@sswd.org.

The SSWD Board of Directors intend to interview candidates for the replacement from among the qualified applications. The new Director’s initial term will run until the November 2026, District election, when newly elected Board of Directors are sworn into office.

Board of Directors set the policy and budgetary priorities and oversee the operations of SSWD. All Board of Directors are required to attend Board meetings on the third Monday of each month beginning at 5:00 p.m., and to fulfill other duties as may be assigned.
