Due to average rainfall and a snow pack that is well above average, the District's Board of Directors has declared Adequate Water Supply Conditions for 2025. The goal of Adequate Water Supply conditions is to use water as efficiently as possible.

Adequate Water Supply conditions do not have a mandatory watering day schedule.  See below for more information.

Watering Schedule

Customers are permitted to water any day of the week.

The following odd/even watering schedule is is recommended (not mandatory) during Adequate Water Supply:

  • Properties that end in an Odd number: Water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
  • Properties that end in an Even number: Water on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
  • Water on Monday is not recommended for all District customers.

Customers are encouraged to check the soil before they water! Using moister meter (available at our Administration Office located at 3701 Marconi Ave.) to check the moisture level of the soil before watering can prevent over watering or under watering your landscape. A screwdriver can also be used to check the soil moister. If a screwdriver can be driven into the soil 3-4 inches, the soil is probably moist enough that a watering cycle can be skipped.

Also, during the late fall and winter months (November through February) when evaporation is minimal due to reduced sunlight, cooler weather sets in, and rainfall occurs watering your landscape often is not necessary. Be sure to give your sprinklers a break during the winter and only water when necessary.

Mandatory Watering Times

  • Watering between Noon and 6:00 p.m. is prohibited during Adequate Water Supply and all other water use stages.

Water-Wise House Call/Leak Investigation

  • Receive a custom evaluation of your indoor and outdoor water use, landscaping watering requirements, water efficient devices, and professional advice with a Water-Wise House Call.
