DPMSA RATE UPDATE

At its June 2026 meeting, the Sacramento Suburban Water District (SSWD) Board of Directors approved postponing the scheduled July 1, 2026, rate increase for customers in the Del Paso Manor Service Area (DPMSA).

The rate increase was originally adopted by the former Del Paso Manor Water District Board of Directors as part of the 2023 Rate Study. The study established a schedule of future rate adjustments to help support ongoing operations, infrastructure improvements, and long-term financial stability.

Since that study was completed, several important developments have occurred: SSWD is pursuing significant grant funding for infrastructure improvements in the DPMSA, updated revenue projections are available due in part to the replacement of aging water meters, and the reorganization with SSWD has created operational efficiencies and economies of scale that were not fully known at the time of the study.
